One afternoon a young Sean Quinn was digging through his Father's childhood materials when suddenly an old beat up acoustic guitar caught his eye. It was love at first sight for the thirteen-year-old growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia in Southern New Jersey. Guitar music and songwriting quickly became all Sean could think about.
The guitar was Quinn’s constant companion from that day all the way through High School. He studied the work of greats like Clapton, Bloomfield, and Chet Atkins. If Sean wasn't learning a new song, he was listening to anything and everything he could get his hands on. His inspiration developed from repeated listens of folk, blues, jazz, country and rock records.
Quinn has been awed by the great guitar players and songwriters of the last century, nurturing his craft from a young age by playing in every band his small town could offer. After achieving a scholarship to Northeastern University in Boston, his continued study led to the inevitable move to Music City, Nashville Tennessee where he has become a known local act and guitarist for hire.
Sean's original material is inspired by people he has met, relationships, and a love for travel all while blurring the line between the serious and comedic. His vocals, unique style, and stinging guitar playing make for a truly dynamic performance.
